Internationally renowned jazz violinist (and MacArthur genius grant recipient) Regina Carter will be featured in the new Violin Concerto written expressly for her by Grammy Award-winning composer and jazz pianist Billy Childs. A talented pianist from a very early age, Childs has grown into a sophisticated composer praised for brilliantly blending jazz and classical elements.
