Our Night at the Opera will be a
night to remember! This sparkling evening of beautiful voices and lively
orchestral playing will bring together music from some of the world's grandest,
most famous operas, including Aida and other Verdi favorites, Lucia
di Lammermoor and Bernstein's Candide . Michael Morgan has chosen
arias, overtures and intermezzos from many of his favorite operas and assembled
a group of exceptionally talented young singers-including former Adler Fellow
Joshua Bloom, who recently made a successful debut at the Metropolitan
Opera-for this special opening night program. You don't have to be an
opera-goer to recognize and enjoy the wide range of well-known vocal and
orchestral selections featured on this concert.
