serves over 3,000 students in grades 3-12 at eighteen Oakland public schools.
Oakland East Bay Symphony's programs serve a student population that is
primarily African American, Asian and Latino, in some of the city's most

Visits & Ensembles in the Schools
 Beginning in the
fall of 2010, Oakland East Bay Symphony is offering three different types of
classroom visits in Oakland and East Bay Schools.

1. Music
Director Michael Morgan presents "show and tell" programs
 at
elementary and middle schools. He is also available to come
 work with
high school ensembles.

2. Education Director Tom Hornig presents "Tom and his
Trombone",
 a musical story for first and second graders.

3.
Education Director Tom Hornig presents "The Evolution of
Jazz."
