"Where the Symphony has a presence, school music programs are more solid, have
less teacher turnover, or have maintained quality with personnel changes.
The Symphony is an incredible partner to the district. They're always open to
working through anything, and they're a valuable part of our programs.
We appreciate the quality of musicians and support they give our teachers.
We really enjoy our relationship with them. They're a delight to work with."

~ Phil Rydeen, Director of Visual and Performing Arts,
Oakland Unified District and OEBS Education Committee Member
