Join a group of dedicated individuals involved with the Symphony's education and community outreach programs in Oakland and East Bay Area.

Volunteers have the opportunity to be involved with providing services at concerts, join the OEBS League, staff fundraising events at concerts and various special events held throughout the year, and support staff at the Symphony office.

CONCERT/SPECIAL EVENTS VOLUNTEER
The Symphony needs assistance at fundraising events and annual subscription renewal events held at the Paramount Theatre.

Volunteers can provide service by helping to set up and staff tables in the lobby of the theater, collect subscription renewals, provide information to prospective donors and subscribers, provide administrative support, and do other tasks to ensure the success of our fundraising events.

OFFICE VOLUNTEER
There are opportunities for volunteers to assist Symphony staff in the office by maintaining database programs, coordinate event mailings, filing, and supporting various departments with administrative tasks.

The Symphony has frequent daytime needs for:

• Data entry support
• Help with mail merges for thank you letters and pre-event solicitation letters
• Collate and stuff invitations
• Assist staff with office management (answering phone, filing)
• Help maintain press clippings and photo archives
